Last Week
Many BBSer's enjoyed this great three day Riverfront Blues Festival in Wilmington, Delaware with me. Thanks to Gene Fontana and the Diamond State Blues Society for always doing a excellent job. There are many videos from the festival on my Video Channel with Sunday's performers, Jumpin Johnny Sansone and Tab Benoit still to be uploaded. I will than work on and upload the pictures from those three days and upload to my Flickr site.
Last Friday I went to Club 66 in Edgewood to see Lee Rocker. What an excellent show this guy puts on, not only doing songs electric but quite a few semi-acoustic of early songs such as Buddy Holly and Elvis. I had taken many videos and pictures from that night only to find out that the new memory card I used that night was defective and I couldn't rescure anything from that card. I do have some videos of the really outstanding opening band "the Russ Greene band" which was on another card. If you haven't gone to this club yet, you should. Big stage, great sound and filled with the friendliest people anywhere. Eric Lindell will be there September 10th. (The above is a still picture captured from someone else's YouTube video)
Saturday I went to the Bel Air BBQ Bash to see the Route 66 band, a really good jam band that performs blues and blues flavored Rock & Roll. They were only able to do one set before being rained out. I do have a few videos so that you will have a sample of this fine band that will be uploaded soon.
